Indian Chicken Tikka Recipe

In Indian cuisine, Indian Chicken Tikka is a popular appetiser or side dish. It's made by marinating chicken cubes in a spiced yoghurt mixture before grilling or baking them until tender and slightly charred. This dish is flavorful and suitable for any occasion.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes

Instructions

  • Combine the yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, paprika, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, lemon juice, vegetable oil, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix the chicken cubes into the marinade, making sure that each piece is evenly coated.
  • Refrigerate the bowl for at least 1 hour and up to 24 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  • Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Thread the chicken cubes onto the skewers, leaving room between each piece.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred around the edges, on the prepared baking tray.
  • Serve with mint chutney and lemon wedges, if desired.
