Tandoori Chicken Pakora is a tasty and spicy Indian snack that combines tandoori chicken flavors with the crispy texture of pakoras. This recipe is ideal for a party or as a snack at any time.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes

Instructions

  • Whisk together chickpea flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, and cayenne pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  • Whisk together the yogurt, lemon juice, and garlic in a separate bowl.
  • Stir the chicken pieces into the yoghurt mixture to coat.
  • Toss the coated chicken in the flour mixture to coat.
  • Preheat the oil in a deep pot or deep fryer to 350°F.
  • Cook for 4-5 minutes in batches, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove from the oil and place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Serve immediately with your preferred dipping sauce.
